Spend Less and Eat Well

It was the fall of 2008 and I ran across a video clip of Whoopi Goldberg on Rachael Ray’s show. They were discussing the frustration of eating healthy on a budget and how it seems unfair to punish those who are overweight or living an unhealthy lifestyle because they can’t afford the healthier foods and ingredients. The issue at hand and “punishment” was a fat tax and premium hike that was being used as a threat by health insurance companies and others in an attempt to motivate healthier eating.
